There are dozens of methods and theories utilized in therapy. Being able to find the one that fits with your personal style allows for the greatest possible change. We utilize an integrative approach to fit the best technique to your personality and symptoms. Individual counseling starts with an initial intake then moves forward to work on the various goals determined in that session. Couple counseling starts with an initial intake where the issues are presented by each partner before developing mutually agreed upon goals with assistance from the counselor. A full family and relationship history follows over the next three sessions, keeping the main goals of the therapy in mind. All subsequent sessions focus on relationship skills building and the impact and review of past and present issues.
